From 26th – 30th September 2016 the traditional international sport event took place in Busto Arsizio, Varese. Apart from the Slovene and Italian teams, there were also high school students from The Check Republic, Germany and the Netherlands. The event was the twelfth in a row, this time dedicated to headball with 21 matches taking place. The Diocesan Classical Gymnasium took the second place, after the match result being a draw (14:14), and the hosting school Liceo Scientifico Statale Arturo Tosi winning the point of a difference after a penalty shoot-out.
