Urša Logar and Vivijana Wogrin (year 4) accepted the invitation to participate in the competition entitled The Germans and Their Eastern Neighbors/Die Deutschen und ihre östlichen Nachbarn. The event is organized annually by the Bavarian Ministry of Education for foreign students learning German. The theme in the accademic year 2023/2024 was The Republic of Slovenia.

The above mentioned students entitled their work The Influence of the Slovenian Language on National Identity/Sprache und nationale Identität, presenting the Slovene people and their language through history, from the time of Carantania to the present day. The result of several months of work is a well-researched, insightful, and beautifully designed project 20241103-Sprache und nationale identitat .The mentor of the project is Irena Bolta, teacher of German at the Diocesan Classical Gymnasium. /Irena Bolta, B.
