The Jeglič Student Home is a private student dormitory which was founded as a supporting institution of the Diocesan Classical Gymnasium.
The Jeglič Student Home can provide accommodation for 220 students. There are comfortable living and studying conditions, and students are organised into groups led by dormitory counsellors.
The Jeglič Student Home places special emphasis on particular aims such as the growth of personality, the discovery of students’ career interests, Christian dignity and a patriotic upbringing. It helps students develop real values and work habits; they should respect one another, accept the rules of the student home and exercise their freedom responsibly. Parents are also included in the pedagogical work through the Parental Advisory Board and professional lectures which the Home organises.

The Student Home maintains numerous clubs including photography, guitar, drama, the literary magazine, sports, crafts, cooking, liturgical events, creative techniques and the home’s student council.
The students can dedicate part of their free time to organised volunteer and social work in different institutions in Slovenia.
